Annual Meeting of the Proprietors 2025
Monday, March 24, 2025 at 5:00 pm E.T.
The Annual Meeting of the Proprietors of the Boston Athenaeum and Boston Library Society will be held at 10 ½ Beacon Street on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 5:00 pm for the following purposes:
- To act upon the record of the previous meeting.
- To elect Officers and Trustees.
- To consider a proposed amendment to the By-Laws to increase the maximum number of Trustees of the Boston Athenaeum to 25 from 21.
- To transact any further business that may properly come before the meeting.
There will be a reception following the meeting.

Proprietors who have paid their annual Assessment and are in good standing may vote.
Please use the link below to submit your RSVP and to submit your vote. If you cannot attend the meeting, there will be an option to view the meeting virtually. Please submit any electronic votes no later than the end of the day on Friday, March 21, 2025.
If you plan to attend in person, you do not need to submit an electronic vote.
President Timothy W. Diggins and Director Leah Rosovsky will be taking questions during the meeting, but you may also submit questions and suggestions in advance through the same form linked below.
