Fellowship Application Form

Please complete the form below. All applications will be considered for all available fellowships; you need not specify a particular one.

  • Those who do not hold a PhD should arrange for a letter of recommendation from a dissertation advisor or supervisor.
  • Secondary school teachers need to arrange for two (2) letters of recommendation.
  • Recommendations should be emailed directly to fellowships@bostonathenaeum.org by the recommender. The subject line should contain the applicant’s full name.

Note: there are several different deadlines.

Describe your project, research plans, and goal.
Joint Fellowship applicants should include Congregational Library and Archive materials as well.
