Hannah Adams Society – $25,000 – $49,999

The Society is named in honor of the first woman granted access to the library. Hannah Adams’s (1755-1831) scholarship earned her access to the Library’s collection and an annual stipend to fund her research. We continue to honor her contribution to a more inclusive and just institution.
